so since about 3 weeks my baby went from happy to absolutely miserable! She cries hysterically 24/7 nothing really helps. Dad can't soothe her only me and even then it's not easy! Currently I'm exusively breastfeeding and when the dr told me she most likely has a cows milk allergy she said to cut out my dairy and see if that helps. My baby screams from pain and I can't wait so we decided to switch her to Nutramigen formula but she's not wanting to take it. Has anybody else had to switch from breast to bottle? Was it hard? What did you do and how long did it last before baby was happy with the formula.
Oh and my baby is about 4 and half weeks old. Thanks in advanced!
Re: Cows milk allergy-switching to formula. HELP!
Not to be semi-judgemental.... But why switch to formula so quickly? Have you thought about still BF, and eliminating dairy? It's really not as huge a deal, as it might seem. Almond/coconut/rice milk isn't all that bad, and has added health benefits not only for baby but for you too!
I was wondering the same thing?
