Fundal to pubic bone not accurate

So I went to my 30 wk appt today the did the measurements And said everything looked fine, well I asked is she measuring ok? And I got a "yup" lol...but then she said that I will be getting ultrasounds now to check the size of baby because they are not getting accurate fundal to pubic bone measurements could this be because I am plus sized? I've only gained 7 pounds so far she said that is completely fine so I guess I'm just confused we go back in two weeks

    What did your doctor say was the reason for getting inaccurate measurements? They would be the one to ask since we are not familiar with your pregnancy, body or baby.
