Failed D&C???

So I had a miscarriage/D&C on April 13th (almost 2 months ago). I thought I got my period 3 weeks ago. Thought I was moving past all this. But I have been spotting for the last 10 days on and off. Went to the midwife today for a follow up and ultrasound and they found tissue in my uterus! This is horrible! I am so ready to move on... They are checking my hcg levels right now with a bloodtest but will probably need to take something to help expel what's left. Has anyone else had this happen? How did you get it resolved? I'm just so worried I may have to have another D&C....

    I've never nevertheless experienced this. I'm so sorry you may need to repeat the d&c :(

    I was bleeding heavy for a week after my d&c (including some large clots) and then stopped for 2 days.  Last Monday I woke up bleeding really heavy again and called my dr.  He had me go in and gave me 3 cytotek pills to take orally.  I didn't have bad cramping or passing clots but I bled pretty good that day and the next.  I stopped last Weds & Thurs and then Friday & Sat I had brownish discharge. I am hoping that is it but I just have this fear that there is still tissue present.  I have 3 weeks until my follow up.  My friend had her d&c the week previous to mine and she bled for a week and that was it.
