First Appointment on 6.15.

this is baby #2 but my DD is nearly 6 years old so needless to say I feel like this is new territory all over again.

OMG, I am SO nervous!! With my DD I didn't have my first appointment until 8 weeks and at 20 weeks I was diagnosed with low amniotic fluid so I had to go to a specialist monthly to monitor.

This time around I'll be 6w2d tomorrow, so I'm chalking the early appointment up to the complications in my last one... but I'm still super nervous.

Sorry for the vent - because: hormones.

    This is my first pregnancy and I will be seeing the Dr at 6w2d. I am SO nervous. I am so afraid for something to be wrong and I also have a weird phobia of having my blood drawn. It's hard yo even think about it! I've been told I will get used to it and I hope so. Good luck with your first appointment. I'm sending happy thoughts your way!

    These first weeks are nerve wracking for all of us, so def understandable! GL and hope you have a great first appointment tomorrow that eases your mind a little bit

    Good luck! I'm sure everything will be fine but I totally understand your feelings. I'm counting down the days until my first ultrasound on the 26th

    That is exactly how I felt during my last pregnancy with my littlest. There is 7 years and 3 months in between our oldest and current youngest, not for the lack of trying. I remember having so much anxiety during that pregnancy and having an early appt just to rule out an Ecotpic pregnancy due to my history of having one. 

    For some reason I feel super chill about this pregnancy. DH and I were just talking about this earlier today that I feel optimistic and more relaxed. I told him I think this pregnancy will fly by because last time Ayden (oldest) was self sufficient so I had more down time but this time with the toddler running around, jam packed summer and already committed to fall ball (the oldest again) it will be here before we know it. This will also be the last so I am trying to savor and enjoy all I can.

    Sorry for the ramble! My first appt isn't until 7/9, first available. I am very much looking forward to it! I am hoping my "chill" bubble doesn't get busted. FX for you for an great appt!

    This is our #2 too and our first is turning 5 tomorrow. I feel like it's all brand new territory too. I sort of wish I wouldn't have waited so long between because I am so nervous about everything again. My first appt is also tomorrow. I will be 7 weeks 4 and we scheduled earlier because I've had some pretty decent weight loss. Good luck tomorrow! Hopefully tomorrow will help us put our minds more at ease.

    Right there with you on the "brand new" feeling. DD just turned 5 and while it's gone by super quick, I feel like the pregnancy was ages ago. My first appointment is 6/25 and I'll be 7 weeks. Dying for it to get here.

    I think about the age gap too, but my DD just recently started asking for a sibling, so this would be great timing if all goes well! FX!!!! GL to you too!!!!!

    Glad I'm not the only one with such a gap between between kids! I'm SO thankful for the years I had with just her and I though.

    My little sister is 5 and half years younger than me. The gap was great for me growing up and my mom always talks about how great it was too. I'm excited to have DD be my little helper. :x

    Love the gap! There's a 6 year difference between mine and it hasn't been an issue. Yes they have their moments where they get sick of each other but for the most part my oldest daughter has been the biggest help I could have asked for.
