Cramping a lot! :( Help!

I'm 20 weeks FTM and I seem to be having period like cramps everyday now they aren't painful just really uncomfortable ... Is this normal?

Re: Cramping a lot! :( Help!

  • I had some cramping last week and it was just stretching. Mine only lasted a couple days. I looked to see how much baby is supposed to grow between weeks 20 and 21 and it was about 4 inches, so yours may be hitting a growth spurt. I'd call your doctor if it is really worrying you, though. Just for some reassurance.

  • Drink a ton, and I mean a ton, of water and lay down on your left side for an hour or so.  It probably is just stretching. Dehydration can lead to cramping.

Yup, what ^they ^ said. Drink a ton of water, rest, relax, and if you still feel crampy and it has you concerned call your doctor.
  • My doctor told me that unless there was bleeding, cramping was normal, and to keep hydrated and rest.
  • Yes! Forgot to mention the water!!!

I don't think they actually grown four inches in a week. They begin to be measured from crown to toes instead of crown to rump. The legs are now included in the measurements.

That actually makes much more sense. When I saw that on the app I was like holy freaking crap! @-)

Thought it seemed kind of insane, but I don't know anything about this pregnancy thing so I didn't question it! Haha!
