Tampons

I'm having my first period after baby & I'll be 6 weeks postpartum Sunday. Wondering if it's safe to use tampons or not?

    I remember my doc telling me very clearly not to use tampons when she saw me at the hospital after labor & as my discharge instructions. I'd refrain from doing so until you've had your f/u with your doctor, if you haven't already.
