Brown discharge @ 10/11dpo

Last night I was getting awful achy cramps. Like period type cramps where even my hips and knees ached. I went to the bathroom after midnight last night and had a bunch of brown discharge on my tp and in toilet. There really wasn't any this morning. I'm sure others of you have had this - is it anything I should realistically get my hopes up over? Took a test with fmu this morning and got a bfn. :-/

    Lurking. I've had implantation bleeding twice. If that's what it is it's still a bit early for a bfp. I would test again in a couple days. Good luck!

    My last AF was like this.  I had brown spotting for 3 days - got my hopes up big time.  It ended up just being a wacky cycle. 
    It drove me absolutely nuts.  I googled everything and looked on all the boards at all the ladies who had implantation bleeding - even some humorous fights about if it was rare or not.  You'll see them ;) 

    Good luck if it is implantation bleeding!

    This is how my AF starts. Days of brown spotting. My doctor said that as we get older it's typical for AF to get lighter and longer (doesn't mean anything negative about fertility though). But I'll keep my fingers crossed that it means something different for you...

    I'm pretty sure that's what it is in this case. Oh well, next month!!!
