Have everything set up and I'm washing everything as we speak. Installed the car seat as well as packing the hospital bag, now we just have to wait for our chair which should we delivered within the next week. 34 weeks tomorrow. So close yet so far.
  • Finished this morning at 1 am. His room is ready for him. Clothes are washed, ironed and organized. Diapers, toys, books and all have thier place. Everything that requires batteries have them!! Now I just need to clean the rest of my house. Room by room and we'll be there in no time!! Feeling great!

I'm due in 3 weeks doctor thinks I will
Go early and I have nothing set :( been so busy and still confused if I should stick with the safari theme or change it up now. Still no bag packed either
  • Eh I'm about as ready as I can be. Clothes are washed and I started in the twins room. But I don't have any cribs yet ( we're getting one from my cousin and the other is my daughters that she's still using.) so I have the pack n play set up and I have diapers wipes and clothes and a partially packed hospital bag. That's all I need for now. I'll figure out the rest later.
  • Nursery is my room.. But yes I am set up enough that if she was to come today I would be ready! I have the car seats set up and ready, one bouncy chair is set. Bassinet, and changing station (I'm in love with it! It's so cute) and most of my hospital bag is packed as is hers.. Which isn't even really needed.. So it's just a few outfits. I just need a few more things, such as, rubbing alcohol, baby powder (although the whole cervical cancer thing scares me.. So I will only be using talc free) and a bottle warmer for my room. I have alcohol wipes which I prefer.. I use those the first few days home, then when the cords doing better I clean with q tips. And I need a diaper bag. Baby showers in 5 days, so waiting on that to finalize my packing and nesting.
  • We just finished painting stuff today (frames, change table, dresser) we took my SO's grandparents old armoir and remade it into a change table....I love it. Tomorrow I'll put everything away and we'll hopefully get the pictures hung then it will be complete.
  • Our nursery has been complete for awhile now since my dad bought us all the furniture (his first grand kid). But this weekend we put together his mamaroo, pack and play, washed all his clothes, blankets and sheets and installed the car seats in both cars. We also have our hospital bags ready to go, all we need to add is our toothbrushes when it's go time. I've always been a neat freak so the house is always super clean, which I know will be harder to maintain once he's here but hubby will help because I get really moody when I see clutter or messes. Other than that, we have carpet cleaners coming to clean our carpets downstairs because that's where the dogs stay. So, I think we're pretty ready! Just waiting on baby boy now :-)

Omg I do to (the clutter and ect) I get so stressed and cranky!
  • We still have a couple of shelves and art to hang, but otherwise the nursery is done! We painted the walls and I painted a constellation mural on an accent wall behind the crib. We still need to wash/organize the baby clothes but I'm waiting until after the showers to do everything all at once. Still no rocking chair so we're hoping someone gets it from the registry otherwise we'll be scrambling to order/deliver one immediately after the shower!
  • All ready here except for putting some stuff on the walls. Car seat is in, now to pack a hospital bag soon.
  • Yes 36+5 and all I need is baby!
  • NOPE! Not even close! LOL - my c-section is scheduled for July 6th and we are hoping to close on our house July 2nd so the next few weeks are going to consist of us packing up our house as oppose to getting baby ready. It's a horrible feeling for a mommy that wants to nest! BUT - if everything goes like we hope it does then baby girl and I will be going home from the hospital to our NEW home instead of the old one full of boxes!
