Bottles!

My baby is very gassy :( Anyone have experience with dr Browns bottles? Are they as good as they look? Do they help with gas? Using avent bottles now but they seem to leak! Thanks!

    I'm using dr Browns and I love them. Haven't had any issues with gas.

    I used Dr. Brown with my first and again with this LO. Issues with gas are minimal. I did notice more gas when I switched from premie nipples to level 1. I may have switched too soon. You could try a lower flow nipple with the avent bottle before changing bottle brands.

    BTW- I'm using similac sensitive formula.

    Love our Dr. Brown's bottles! Minimal gas and less spit up!

    I'm using them with level 1 nipples, for breastmilk. He does have some gastro issues about 50% of the time right after eating but then he sorts himself out and falls asleep within 5-10 minutes.

    My sister used Tommee tippee sensitive tummy, kind if a similar venting system but with a wide base. I have a set, but haven't tried them.

    I'm using tommee tippee as well with the colic valve. Seems to be working very well. He gets 1 bottle a day of breast milk.

    We use Dr. Brown's for our daughter. She gets a 50-50 mix of breast milk and Gerber Soothe (for colic, fussy babies) and we have no issues at all. Love them!

    I have dr Browns, advent, and tommy tippy, all bought for me or free. I prefer the dr Browns.

    I used them for DD and now for DS. DD was a horrible spitter for the 1st year and other tummy issues. DS is having tons of discomfort after eating (only a week old so not sure what it is yet). I think they help but nothing takes it away completely. I think it comes down to your baby.

    Franco Paul born 6/4/15 at 39 weeks.  Mila Francesca born 10/19/13 at 37 weeks.  Both born via C-Section after 6 years of fertility treatments, disappointments and losses. Love them!!
