Night nursing after sleeping all night?

the past few nights after already having sleeping from 9:30-6 well established, my little one has been getting up multiple times through the night. He did have a cold, but now the cough seems to have subsided and now he is just irritable through the day and can't seem to have a decent nap. He is fighting me nursing today... Not sure what is up with him but he was up every 1-2 hours last night. The question I have is should I be nursing him when he wakes up? He always takes it at night but since he had been sleeping 8-9 hours without feeding consistently, and I making a bad habit by nursing him now that he is waking up through the night again? Or will it go back to normal? Maybe this is teething pain? Lots of drooling sucking on hands/blanket... I'm scared to do the wrong thing after he was doing so well sleeping

    I felt the same way last week... How old is your LO? Mine is 12 weeks tomorrow and during my late night feedings last week I read there is a growth spurt around 3 mo. Last couple nites he's gotten up once in a 12-13 hour period. Last nite he slept from 10-8 then napped 9-11

    Okay he is twelve weeks tomorrow haha I hope that's it and he goes back to normal!!

    He had a cold mixed in there too... So a cough might also wake him up... I think it's just after 4 nights of this I feel like I'm doing something wrong and losing the progress that he had made sleeping all night! I feel like a bad mother using the swing for naps but he won't nap either and I'm just so tired. When yours sleeps for the 13 hours with one wake do you put him back in his bed? And is he in his own room? I haven't made the move yet, I was about to then he got sick and then started not sleeping through the night anymore so I didn't... Maybe I should

    He has been in his room since we came home from the hospital... The first week he had to stay there cause he needed antibiotics for an infection. I do put him back in his bed. I think I'm just getting lucky lol. His day time naps he likes to be held or sitting in his high chair (it reclines). We don't have a swing but wish we did!!

    Ugh!! Not really! But after a couple days he developed the horrible head cold I had. So coughing started waking him up during naps. Now I feel completely out of control haha. I was just about to move him from our room to his room when he stopped sleeping all night. Now he's napping in his swing most of the naps because the coughing wakes him up. I think he hit a growth spurt in there too and now he's chewing on everything...... So maybe teething pain too? He tried to roll back to belly the other day and almost made it so I figure I need to wean him off the swaddle too, but I tried that today and without the swaddle no way would he sleep! So now I'm in the despair of two weeks of not sleeping after he had been sleeping 8 hours at night. I'm to the point now where I don't know what to do to move him to his room or to help him sleep or when I should be trying to nail down a nap schedule. He's hard to put down for a nap too and I'm finding unless I'm home I can't get him down for any length of a nap, I'm talking 15 mins max. So now I see all my friends around here with babies going out and doing things with their happy looking baby in the car seat or napping on someone's couch out visiting and feel like I'm doing something wrong because I can't do that! Ahhh. I just feel frustrated because I went from him sleeping all night to being up every 3 hours it's so strange

    Now apparently it's gone to him fully waking up in the middle of the night. Now I feel like I'm making bad habits by nursing him and I've been nursing/ walking the floors with him from 2am til now and it's 3:30 am :( and he ate at 11 and 8.... But yet used to sleep from 9pm til 5:30am.... I'm going to lose my mind :(

    Hopefully things go back to normal! Or what used to be normal...maybe it's just because he's been sick he's having trouble sleeping. I don't know, but we went through a few nights of him waking 2-3 times during the night after we got him sleeping straight through. It lasted about 3 days, then he went back to normal. You just have to try to power through it! I hope things get better soon for you and LO!

    I guess, it's been 12 days, last night I actually didn't get to go to bed at all :( I just feel like I am doing something wrong to make him derail like this...

    Oh no!! Hopefully he feels better soon and you can get some sleep! You are doing great. Don't beat yourself up.

    Finally last night he slept from 9ish to 6! Ahhhhh now I think it's soon time to wean from the swaddle..... But I will wait a bit, need a couple more nights like last night haha
