  The general consensus on this site is that if you can get the Madela Pump In Style Advanced through insurance, that's the one to go with.  However, if you will not be pumping often, it probably isn't necessary to get a double electric pump.  Though if it was me, even if i didn't NEED to pump much, i'd want to get the best possible thing i could get (for free with insurance).  I will have to pump at work 2-3x/day once i'm back at work, so i went with the Medela PISA.

  I was home with DS for the first 16 months, and I still had a double electric Ameda Purely Yours pump (preferred over Medela, because it's a closed system). Sure, I wasn't pumping 2 to 3X daily at work with time constraints, but I still had a baby to care for, and it made my life much easier to get it all done in 20 minutes, instead of pumping each breast one at a time, which could take up to 45 minutes EACH with a manual.

  I couldn't imagine doing one boob at a time. 

  I pumped a lot. I needed a double. 

  I've never even considered a single or a manual.

  I completely recommend dual bc it takes care of both Breast at one time. I love my medela dual pump.
