Should the small bumps around my nipple have blood come out when I squeeze them?

I noticed a small bump under one of the bumps and I squeeze it and a little blood comes out.. Is that not okay?

  • I've never had my nipples just bleed. You may want to call your doctor's after hours line.

I'm fairly confident they tell you to call the doctor if there is any blood coming from your nipples (especially if there isn't a noticeable cut). Hope it's nothing, but call to be safe.
  • Oh sweet lord my ladies bits all hurt just thinking about that.  I hope everything is OK.  As others have said, give your Dr a call.
  • That's crazy. I've heard of his happening while breastfeeding but not while pregnant. Def call your doctor. Hope it's ok!
  • Yeah I don't think your supposed to try to pop them.
  • I read that's normal. Your breasts are getting extra blood flow and some women bleed. Mine are so sensitive I feel like they could bleed at any moment
  • Leave it alone, you could cause mastitis. Call your dr if it persists. (Im a mammographer...aka a boob lady!)
  • Is it bleeding out of your mammary ducts? I wasn't sure from the way you described it? I had this happen in my early 20's and it was an intraductal pappiloma. You should definitely follow up with your doctor. Some other signed were finding blood in my bra and breast pain (especially when bumped).
