I've read a lot of the posts where people are talking about being scared of getting a catheter when they get an epi and thought to myself, "Scared?! I kind of wish I could get one everyday all day and double that at night so I wouldn't have to get up to pee a zillion times!!"

I was so thankful for my cath!!! You don't feel a thing bc of the epi. Lol I wish I had 1 right now bc I can't pee with my uti! I just have the constant urge and then NOTHING happens!
Don't remember having one when I had my epidural all I remember is a very rude nurse that I had them to escort out of my room as soon as was possible
That makes me sad for your experience! My nurses were AWESOME! We had so much fun joking with them (after my epi), I remember them telling me as they wheeled me to my reg room after DS was born that we were welcome back anytime and they thought we were great. I assured them it wouldn't be tomorrow! I hope I get the same nurses, as totally unrealistic as I know that is...they were just that awesome!

Re: Seems like a reasonable idea....
