Post D&C Question

I had a D&C last Friday morning, it was painless and I had very minimal spotting the day of and next day. After that, nothing. Last night I started getting pms-like cramps and this morning I had some light bleeding. This is the day of the month I usually start my period, is it possible to have it this soon after a D&C or is the bleeding most likely related to the surgery?

    I am so sorry for your loss. The bleeding you are having now is almost certainly still loss-related bleeding. In order to have a true period after a loss, your HCG levels need to fall near zero and then you typically ovulate and can expect your first post-loss AF about two weeks later.

    I had a d&c on the 29th of May and until the 5th had heavy bleeding. Then over the 6&7th had barely any bleeding. On the 8th I woke up with heavy bleeding again and my doc gave me cytotec and I bled Tuesday. Weds & thurs (10&11 June) nothing now today bleeding again. I have also had a headache over a week. Not sure if this is normal or not but I am ready to move on. I am also extremely tired all of the time.
