Can sneezing cause premature labour?

hi all, I'm 31 weeks 2 days. I've just had a sneezing fit due to hayfever. And sorry about the tmi, but had some leakage each time I sneezed. Not sure if it's my waters or if it's just a weak bladder. Now ive got some period like cramps and I'm worried I've sneezed too hard that I've ruptured my membranes?

No. Sneezing can't cause labor. If so I'd be screwed. I've peed on myself because of sneezing before and I've had cramps from it.

You should be able to smell your clothes and tell if it's urine or not.

This. I have peed myself from sneezing more time than I would like to admit lately. No baby yet though!

Just wait until after baby comes. Chances are good you'll pee when you sneeze... And laugh. And right now I get terrible RLP when I laugh, which unfortunately can cause me to laugh and cry at the same time and then laugh harder. Cramps is likely a version on that.

Seriously? Do you know how many women would be in preterm labor if sneezing could break your water? Or how if only women past 40 weeks could just "sneeze" to get the ball rolling?

You're peeing while you sneeze. Welcome to pregnancy. Might as well get used to it

I sneezed and peed myself in Target today. So I just bought underwear from there, changed in the bathroom, and kept shopping! (Should have saved this for Friday). But no. Sneezing does not cause labor.
