GIFs - feeling dumb!

So, I am most certainly not new to TB. I may be rusty since I was around in the stone age 5 years ago with my DD.

That being said, I googled to no avail how to get my GIFs to work in my posts. It seemed pretty easy per what I found.... copy and paste, but NO! I'm primarily mobile and I use Google Chrome on my iPhone, what in the world am I doing wrong?

If you're on mobile (in a browser, but not in the app, you have to upload it as a picture - click on the little polaroid icon, paste the link of the Gif.

You can do it in the app, I just don't remember how. I think you have to save the gif to your phone and upload it that way?

In the app I have been able to save them then upload as an attachment. Sometimes they are small though.

Hmm I am on an iPhone but you would think it's the same regardless. This is the code I use on mobile :

But remove the spaces

I get my gifs using the same tutorial magnumJ linked to above (in google chrome)
