  • I agree, call your Dr. Good luck.
  • I've never heard of those symptoms being normal at this point in pregnancy. I agree call the doctor and don't worry about others.

  • I've been having them from my pre-e. I would call!!!!!
  • Definitely call. Since you already know you were given meds for contractions before, there is no sense in waiting to see what happens.

  • Just got home from the hospital from what I thought was Braxton Hicks. Turns out I was having contractions 2-3 minutes apart to! They gave me an injection to stop them and sent me on my way. I'm at 32 weeks. These contractions left me a little crampy and tense to, but definitely tell your doc!

That's what happened when I went to the er last week seriously was so freaky huh?? Mine were contractions I was having today but I wasn't having them close enough together to have to go in again. But hope they go away cuz she needs to cook longer!
  • Glad I'm not the only one still having contractions after the injections. Mine are random, but would prefer to not have any at all until it's time. He needs to stay put till the end of July!

Same here! They told me at 35 weeks they are not going to treat them anymore and just let things happen which is crazy soon! Lol I hope she stays in longer. What is your due date?
  • Definitely call because I had period like cramps 15 minutes apart and they were contractions. I got a shot and was put on bed rest and they kept going for about 4 days then stopped. I get them every once and a while but that's how I know I need to slow down and rest.
  • Due August, but most likely being induced at the end of July.

If I may ask, why are you being induced?

I get them pretty regularly (daily but not on a timed basis) and will likely be delivering early, as I did with my other two, but hopefully not until 36 weeks. I've gotten good at stopping what I'm doing, putting my feet up, and drinking cold water. They usually chill then, and after about 30 min I resume whatever it was I was doing. Takes me twice as long to do anything some days -- three hours to fold laundry the other day, but I've been managing them! (I'm 30 weeks). I drink four liters of water a day as well, so I'm not dehydrated... just prone to going early. At any rate, try putting your feet up and drinking water, and if they don't slow, call your dr.
  • I have a mild case of gestational diabetes. My doctor says he usually induces women with it in between 38-40 weeks.
