Okay - so I have my annual physicals in June, and decided to keep the appointment since my OB won't see me until July anyways...
PCP decided to run a TSH test b/c my thyroid was being "generous" (yep, that was his word...) and b/c of family history.. He did a complete blood count and cholesterol - but those seem normal enough. Here's my question - he also tossed on a renal function blood test - I'm young enough that I haven't been getting regular blood work w/ physicals - is the renal one typical for anyone, pregnant people, or should I ask about why he tossed it on?
Thanks ladies, you all are awesome!
