I've been seeing more and more articles about delayed cord clamping, just for shits & gigs, what's everyone's opinion on this?

The only negative I have found (in my opinion) is that if you delay the clamping the hospital is unable to donate it. I feel a tad selfish in that as I am an organ donor myself, but also want the very best start for my baby.
I'll make my final decision after speaking to my OB at our next appointment and also a midwife at my Preadmission Clinic appointment in a couple of weeks.
(This is in Canada...)
