Breast Pump advice

I've been researching breast pumps and I'm trying to
decide between 2 pumps and I was wondering if anyone could provide any guidance
based on your experience. I’m between the Medela Pump In Style Advanced
Breastpump Starter Set (MY57081) and the Spectra 9 Plus Advanced Breast Pump
with Rechargeable Battery (SBUSP10L1).


1. Is one better than the other for everyday use/multiple
times a day use if needed?

2. Is one quieter/more discreet than the other in terms
of sound and portability?

3. Is one easier/more user friendly than the other?

4. Can either device also use plastic storage bags for
freezing supply?

5. Are the parts easier to get from one vs the other?

6. I understand the Spectra is a closed system and may be
more hygienic; does this mean it's easier to clean vs the Medela?

    I will be a FTM so I can't offer any experience, but there have been several threads on breast pumps that you may find helpful - I have! The search function should lead you to several good ones. Good luck!

    Definitely Medela! I've heard from several moms that the Spectra 9 breaks real fast.  I got my Medela Starter from Aeroflow Healthcare.  They also offered me the option of getting the Spectra 2 for free and that is supposed to be a good one (better than the Spectra 9).  Their breastpumps reps are trained on all of the pumps too so you may want to ask them.  Happy pumping!
