I got to see the baby!

Yesterday I had to go in for an ultrasound because I was having crazy bad cramps and they thought it might be an ectopic pregnancy. I was so scared I almost started crying in the room when the doctor was talking about doing an ultrasound "just to see if the baby is in the right place." But everything is fine and we even saw the little heartbeat which they weren't sure if they'd even be able to see it because it was so early.

I'm so relieved to see this little one and know that he or she is doing just fine. It also made the pregnancy a whole lot more real.

Lucky! I had one on Monday but I couldn't see the monitor. Dh could and there was a fetal pole but no HB yet. Not surprising. I'm jealous!

do you mind me asking how far along you are? I'm about 6 weeks and had a scan this morning but they could only see the sac and yolk- think it's too early to see the baby

keeping my fingers crossed for scan in 2 weeks!

I'm 6 weeks and 2 days today. They couldn't see anything with the normal u/s but once they used the vaginal one they could see the heartbeat. It wasn't comfortable but well worth it to see that everything is well.

Mine is on Monday and I'll be 6w2d and I'm hoping for a transvaginal ultrasound. I'm so so so anxious! It's been 5 years since I've had a baby inside me and I'm a ball of nerves!
