I just felt what I believe we're hiccups a couple of days ago and I've felt them a couple of time sense then, I didn't know it could be cord issues though.
How would you guys describe hiccups, super curious? To me everything just feels like movement sometimes stronger than others. I honestly can't tell what's going on in there.

To me it almost feels like a little muscle or something is rhythmically twitching in there. It's not hard like when her limbs or butt are hitting me.
I get them every day and noticed that they come 5-10 min after I eat. She's had hiccups 3-4 times a day and even more than that some days. I was worried about cord issues too, but I now I know it's because she's tasting the amniotic fluid and also it helps confirm that she's in a head down position which brings me peace of my mind. She also squirms and kicks when she gets them! I'm 35 weeks and she's had hiccups daily since 28 weeks.
I've always heard that hiccups are a sign of a healthy baby. Plus, you can count them as kicks if you're doing the "count the kicks" daily check, so that makes it easy to get to my daily kick quota.
My little guy gets them at least twice a day! Sometimes they last around 5 minutes. I was worried about cord issues too, but went in for an ultrasound the other day and everything was great. Doctor said it's completely normal! It feels like tapping from the inside continuously. It's precious

@starbeck77 it helps confirm the baby is head down? Didn't know this...

Where the hiccups are is where the baby's head is. I tend to feel them below my belly button and a little to the left, so I was pretty sure she was head down and we had an ultrasound yesterday that confirmed it.

I don't think this is correct... According to the Count the Kicks website hiccups should not be counted as movements.

I was gonna say this too. The little thing on kick counting that my doctor's office gives out specifically said to not count hiccups so you may want to double check that.
I have had what I think are hiccups twice. At first I thought it was just little kicks or punches but it went on about every 3 seconds for 3 or 4 minutes. It happened again a day later. Still felt like kicks but just more of a pattern to it.
Re: Lot of baby hiccups
My little guy gets them all the time, and I asked the dr, she said that it is completely normal.

I mentioned it to my doctor and she wasn't concerned at all. She said that means he's practicing breathing
