Officially obsessed with elephants on baby stuff...

My nursery theme for our little boy is navy/white/gray and ELEPHANTS. I have a "thing" for elephants...well it's a family thing really. My grandmother (who is 93!) always collected elephant figurines with their trunks up because it's a sign of good luck. My cousins and I all have elephant bracelets and are considering elephant tattoos because of our grandmother. Anyway, I saw a nursery set with elephants on it and that was it, I'm hooked. Now everything I look at that has even a teeny tiny elephant on it, I'm all over it lol. My registry is full of elephant baby everything - swaddles, blankets, clothes, pacifiers, you name it. My husband actually told me to "cool it on the elephants" recently because it is becoming a bit of a silly obsession! lol Oh, did I mention my mother has decided to use the elephant theme for my shower too? Haha. Are you guys obsessed with a particular theme for your baby?

    I love elephants! I had thought about doing a baby elephant themed shower but decided to do dinosaurs instead.

    I was the same way with my son. My mom has always collected elephants and I wanted to do something special for her to have her connected to our son (she's still alive too) and my son loves elephants still. We bought a huge one from Shopko a few years sgo the day after thanksgiving and he loved it.

    I'm doing a princess theme for my daughter (we are expecting a girl) and am having a hard time not going back to elephants do I'm finding ways to incorporate elephants into her theme. :)

    I'm pretty obsessed with elephants myself! I'm on the fence if I'm doing a theme for the baby's room at all, but if I do, elephants or dragons are my top picks. Or maybe both? Both could work right? Elephants and dragons totally go together?

    I'm doing an elephant nursery for my twins! I'm doing gray, white and a spring green color since I'm having a boy and a girl. I have blankets, wall decor, pacifiers and tons of other things picked out with elephants on it :)

    I found an upholstered kid chair at home goods and could not pass it up! Of course it's not letting me attach the picture but it is grey with white elephants on it. :(

    Ohhhhhh they're so sweet. Just went to an elephant themed 1st birthday and it was so simple and so stinkin sweet.

    I love the elephants too, but unfortunately living in Alabama and despising Alabama football (elephants are their mascot) I don't think I can bring myself to do it!

    I did however find the most adorable elephant wall decor at Hobby Lobby in my exact colors (peach and mint) and I think I might just have to bite the bullet and buy it :)

    @danixbanani24 Omg omg omg ...me toooo! Have u seen the pottery barn kids stuff , its sooooooooooooo cute their crib sheets are the inspiration for my baby's things, so I'm doing elephants giraffes and turttles! They have this I think its a shower thing with a elephant head on it its soooo cute !

    I love elephants! Especially because in my religion one of the deities, Ganesh, is an elephant-headed God. But besides that, they are just so cute. But I think I'll be doing more of the monkey theme.. But I could not pass up on the few elephant patterned outfits I bought for baby already!

    @danixbanani24 My baby's theme is grey/white/teal and elephants! Almost everything I've registered for is elephant-ed out, haha! If it comes in an elephant print/shape/theme, it's the item I'm picking! My best friend got him this sweet, soft, stuffed elephant for me to use for comparison pictures as he grows too! Elephants are the best!

    @adcoxmt Hobby Lobby had a ton of teal and grey.  Here's some of the cute stuff they have! Everyone else too, but since you said you're doing grey and teal and elephants... This is what I found yesterday. We're doing mint coral and yellow and a few elephant things so totally getting that little elephant decoration!

    haha I love that I've found others who like the elephant idea!!  And uhm I NEED that Teal and Gray elephant from hobby lobby!  eek!

    I've loved elephants my entire life.  Especially african elephants!  No elephants in our nursery though.  It's very 'northern' themed, with lots of Canadian flora and fauna featured everywhere.  I've got reindeer/caribou motifs, acorns, squirrels, foxes, etc.

    I chose elephants as the nursery theme too. It's white gray and pink. My baby shower theme is elephants too! They're so cute! I love it! I have bought this so far and this is my baby shower invite.
