tiny spots of blood

Hi, so I've been to my Dr about this, she can't find anything out of the ordinary. I've been having little spots of red blood for three days now. Anyone else experience this? I'm not dilated but my cervix is soft. I'm 35 + 5 days. If it continues I will be getting another ultrasound in a few days to check the placenta. It's not hemorrhoids. Hmmm just weird.

    I would think because of how far along you are and it's just small amounts it is just from your cervix. I tend to have a small amount of spotting, especially the day or two after they check my cervix. I would just keep tabs on it and if the amount or color changes let your OB know!

    It could be a polup. But it could also be something with your uterus and placenta :(.

    After sex 2 nights ago I had bright red blood enough to fill a pad I call OB and he said it was normal since im 36 weeks and cervix is becoming weaker.

    I had what I thought was spotting last week, but my vagina was just chaffed a little bloody that I could only see when I wiped. My OB checked me out because she was worried about a UTI, and she actually missed the chaffing at first (it's a jungle down there). Once she spotted it we had a nice long laugh about it wherein she told me to stop wearing my cute underwear and give in to the granny panties.
