Cold formula!?

we have been giving our LO cold formula, that way we can make big batches ahead of time, so when she is screaming for food we don't have to make a bottle! Then I read that cold formula can give them gas, she has gas but it usually doesn't seem to bother her, easily passed, then other times she seems to struggle. Does anyone else give cold formula and have problems with gas?

    Yes and yes. I have also read that making it ahead of time is better because the bubbles from shaking it up settles.. I guess it just depends. If it isn't a problem for your LO, I wouldn't stop doing it.

    Last night she had to have cold formula because microwave broke but she doesn't like it and it's a struggle.. I don't think she had any gas troubles but it's only been the 1 night

    I've been giving cold formula for the reasons you mentioned. H didn't like that I was doing that, and neither did my mom or his MIL, and a friend also questioned it. I looked around online and couldn't really find any real reasons not to give it to LO cold. It takes forever to warm it after we have it refrigerated and LO was always screaming by then which isn't fun at 3am. He doesn't seem bothered by it and I feel like he's gassy no matter what.
