Obviously there are some hormones surging through these threads. I have seen some incredibly rude comments from the same users. These rude comments are typically posted on threads where these users have absolutely no reason to chime in except to be nasty.

My mother always told me if i had nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all. If you are feeling especially jormonal, maybe take a break from trolling every single thread. Going on a walk might help.

This is supposed to be fun and helpful, not hurtful. People make errors , and some are new to this whole chat world. the "etiquette" and rules are suggested, but seriously, if someone messes up or posts something you dont like, remember! You have a choice not to read it. You are in control f your own actions, so please be aware how you respond.

Since I still don't know what you are talking about I'm going to go ahead and throw something out there for you to chomp on: assuming raging hormones are the reason you didn't get the response you wanted is a really shallow way of not recognizing the role you may have played in whatever you are talking about.

Additionally, you have a choice too. To read the guidelines, follow them, or find a different forum.

But, maybe it's just my hormones raging.

I took a walk like you suggested and here are my additional thoughts:

1) This isn't Baby Center - we really build a community on BMBs and don't typically appreciate drive by's who don't bother to get to know anyone or how the boards operate. I'm not being rude here, but you might find a different site is better suited to your needs.

2) Can't you also skip over the comments that bother you?

If you want to make this board a supporting place then you need to participate in a productive way. Welcome newcomers, give support to people experiencing a hard time, give advice. Creating a discussion vaguely calling other posters is childish and will not cause anyone to change their behavior. If you don't agree with someone then discuss it in that same post so they can respond to you. (Also so people understand what in the world you are referring to)

If you are seeing "rude comments" from the "same users" why don't you PM them separately? Why does it have to be a passive-aggressive PSA? Quite frankly I am annoyed that this little rant bumped a thread with actual content off the first page.

Im not contributing any more specifics as for who and what, sorry. I had no personal attacks on myself, but felt bad for other users getting snarked at.

As for the "shit storm," wow. It will fall on deaf ears, i wont be apart of the hate group.

I was hoping that people would be more respectful, but, wow.

I'm going to kindly and politely suggest you take a look at some of the other BMBs and how these posts usually go over. There are always going to be a few who agree with you, but most are going to tell you this is the nature of this forum and how it has been for a long time. Everything here is fairly no nonsense and to the point. Honestly, the culture is not for everyone, and there's nothing wrong with that. There are other forums that are more laid back and sugary sweet, but I think you will find you can't find anywhere else that offers the same factual advice and information.

I think if you have a problem with a person or persons, you should address them directly, not in this round-about, gossipy way that's just asking for drama.

This post is the most negative (attitude-wise) I've seen all day. So... please explain. Just what is it you're hoping to have happen here?

I know how "bad" some things can be, especially coming from a BMB that bailed because of some of the "crazies" (disclaimer: I was night shift then so I just followed the crowd, so much of it I didn't see). We've been hearts and rainbows and support and old farts offering advice to newbies blah blah blah. Maybe she meant to go bitch on first tri with the few who are over there with similar opinions...
