FTM not attending any birthing classes.
My husbands schedule isn't very easy to work around and he wanted to go with me so we finally called yesterday to see if anything was available but they're all booked.
Women have given birth long before any classes so it'll happen either way ahaha
But any suggestions on websites/books I should read?

Honestly, just stay focused on the moment, remember contractions pass, etc. and trust your instincts.
Worked for me.

My husband is a little more concerned about it than I am so I'm trying to humor him. It's more like he wants to know what I should be doing so he can be helpful.

But if there's a book you think he'd look at with you, try this one:

Even if their birthing philosophy isn't what you have in mind, it is a good book that walks you through the birth process.

Then came a miscarriage March '11
Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12
Waiting on our second little peanut!
This exactly. Other than seeing where the delivery rooms are, where to park, what to pack, etc., the class wasn't too useful. Not sure if your hospital sends you a welcome packet, but most of this info was in my packet as well. Don't worry about not taking a class.
Other than that, you can pick up any book on Lamaze if that's what you're interested in. I found the "what to expect" book relatively helpful but as everyone's experience is so different, it's hard to know.
I planned on an epidural long before I heard any stories.
