It looks like it will be a quiet week.  Thank goodness!  I'm really looking forward to some normal, boring life.

Still WTO, probably Oing in the next 6-8 days, so at the end of the week we'll be having some grownup time.  It's a bit of a quiet time at work, which is nice.  I'm annoyed at my boss and casually looking for a new job.  Meh.  It's a very meh week.

  • This week is going to be busy for me. End of the school year craziness. DS is moving up from elementary school so there are so many activities for them. This week is circus week and also soccer tryouts. So every night we have something.
We have two parties this weekend and I have a cake order for Saturday.
    Busy, busy, busy

    All welcome

  • A strangely quiet week for me!  Last week was incredibly busy, with a chorus performance (after dress rehearsals) and a heavy work week.  This week, I'm just playing catch-up at work, with nothing to do at night.

I hear there's this thing called "housecleaning," I might explore that.

I'm WTO this week, likely to trigger for my third IUI at the end of the week/over the weekend.  I just picked up my menopur today, which I'll take for the first time tomorrow.  I was a little intimidated by the idea of mixing an injection, but the pharmacist sat me down and let me practice with empty containers and saline, and it's a lot simpler than I thought.  So I get to impress my wife tomorrow!
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

  • @KLake42 - I'm a nurse and I was still nervous mixing up and giving MYSELF an injection the first time.  It wasn't too bad!!  :)  Good luck!  @hooligans4, staying busy will make the time till your ultrasound FLY by! :)

As for me, I have a busy week of working, my day off is Wednesday and I'm driving to my hometown 1.5 hours away in the evening to help my dad with a picnic he's hosting at the weekly music festival in town.  He is busing in seniors from a local nursing home for dinner and to listen to the music.  We missed going last year because my DD was sick, so I'm looking forward to it.  :)  My bench time is going pretty fast, one more week of BCPs and then I can find out what is going on in there...  Trying to be patient.

  • I am working today and a little tomorrow then on tomorrow afternoon i head to the san francisco area for our next ivf cycle. I am taking thursday off for my baseline then will work remotely on friday. Getting a bit nervous -- hoping everything looks ok and i get a thumbs up for the start on thursday (lots of planning goes into being able to do one cycle so it will be challenging if i can't start -- but also unlikely i think too.).

    Have a great week everyone!

@hooligans4 -- glad you got a high beta -- yea! thinking of you!

  • I started working for a big new client this week and so far the designs aren't coming easy. It's totally stressing me out. And I'm meeting with another new client tomorrow.

AF should be coming tomorrow or the next day, though, and I'm looking forward to starting a new cycle. It will be the 3rd post-d&c cycle, so fx it's finally a normal one.
