So I'm a first time mom 28 weeks and I decided to start stocking on diapers and wipes. I hear Target and Amazon Prime mom is the best where I can find deals. Any moms have suggestions
I have an honest subscription and I love it and will get it for this LO as well. The diapers are delivered to my door and I can move the ship date to whenever I want. The diapers are cute and the quality is great. You get diapers and wipes in your bundle and you can add other products you need additionally for 25% off. I like the diaper subscription so much I just started getting the Essential Bundle as well which is cleaning and bath supplies. They also sell their stuff at target so if for some reason I do run out, I can go get anything else in the meantime. They also give gifts when it's a holiday.
You should get Prime whether you use it for the diapers or not. I can't tell you how much I used that free two day shipping instead of trying to find certain baby things in stores. Plus the Amazon instant video it comes with is great when baby is born.
I'm a fan of Sam's Club brand diapers and Huggies wipes. I buy one big pack at a time and don't have to worry about it for a good while. I should note that I didn't start with the club brand diapers until DD was in size 2's. Before that, I had stocked up on smaller packs when on sale.
Don't go overboard! Last time we only used one pack of newborn diapers and I think only two Costco boxes of size 1. Babies grow fast at the beginning! I did have a big baby, but still... this time around I didn't buy NB diapers, I was gifted leftover NB diapers from 2 or 3 different people. I swear everyone has leftover NB size, ask your mommy friends!
Also I found really cute Honest Co diapers on clearance at Target and bought a bag! I will use those for outings and company... Got a couple boxes of Pampers on sale too!
I have to ditto @mamaloaf....My go to is also Sams Club because its bulk....I plan on using Pamper Swaddlers and Pampers Sensitive wipes and I feel like I'm getting a better deal. I only have a couple of packs of newborn since he probably wont be that tiny long....but I have stocked up to size 3....and you cant have too many wipes, so I wasn't worried about going overboard on wipes
I have started stocking up as well. So far I've preferred to buy from a Target as they tend to have deals where they give you gift cards for buying 2 packs or whatever the deal is at the time. We received $40 in gift cards after buying 4 giant packs of Pampers diapers. After using the Cartwheel app and manufacturer coupons it came out to approximately 15 cents/diaper. Keep an eye out for The Krazy Coupon Lady website. They tend to have info on diaper deals.
I use Amazon Prime and a semi-local chain store for diapers. The store has a rewards plan and in the baby dept if you spend X amount you receive coupons for total off amount on your final bill. They are about the same price as amazon and if I'm there already, why not?
I like Amazon Mom for diapers and wipes so that I can set it up automatically and not have to think about it until it is time to up a size or lower my order frequency.
However, I wouldn't stock up too much. It is hard to tell what brand will be best for you/your baby, how quickly he or she will size up, etc. I will probably buy a case of newborn diapers before she is born, but leave the rest for later.
I keep an eye on the drug stores. CVS and Walgreens tend to offer pretty good deals when you match them to coupons. For example, this week at CVS you can get Huggies and Pullups Buy One Get One 50% off, then receive $10 back when you spend $30 on diapers. Add to that a $2 coupon per pack from the manufacturer plus a $3 off per pack coupon available on CVS.com and you've got yourself a pretty good deal.
Last week I walked out of CVS with over $100 in Pampers Diapers and Wipes for less than $30.
I really like the Wal-Mart store brand Parents Choice for diapers and wipes. They are affordable, good quality, and if you do stock up and your baby outgrows them before you open the next pack you can exchange them no problem.
Re: DIAPERS
Diapers.com has great deals every once in a while but definitely worth checking out!
