No kicks yet :(

I feel like I'm the only one here that has not felt kicks yet and it's quite depressing. Sometimes I feel like maybe there's movement but I shouldn't have to guess I wanna really feel a kick! Anyone else or is this just me? 20 weeks 4 days.

Re: No kicks yet :(

  • I'm 21 weeks and 3 days and I haven't felt any kicks yet either. I'm so anxious since it's my first baby. I really thought I would have felt them by now. My dr said that I have a tilted uterus and that might have something to do with it, also placenta placement. I'm also 5'8, and have heard that taller people don't feel kicks as soon as others because baby has more room to move around in there. I've been told to just be patient, but it's hard!

  • I am almost 20 weeks and still at that. "I THINK there is movement," phase. I know deep down it's normal, but it makes me nervous something is wrong going into my anatomy scan tomorrow.
  • I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and nothing! Thought that I would have felt something by now too. My midwife said to expect to feel movement between 16-22 weeks. Hope it's not too much longer for us!
  • I didn't start getting good kicks till almost 22 weeks. They felt more like tickles, I was really jealous of friends who had really active babies. This little girl only gets really active when I'm laying down.
  • Thanks ladies! Glad I'm not the only one, sometimes I feel something but it's so fast and subtle that I'm not sure of its kicks or gas lol I hope it happens soon!
  • I mainly get little flutters but last night I put some headphones on my tummy with some music and got a couple strong kicks. You could try it and see if you get a reaction? I don't buy the tall theory since I am tall and have felt since early on. But it is normal for some women to take longer to feel than others so don't worry.

  • I'm 19 weeks and I still haven't felt anything. Sometimes I think I do, but then I'm like nah its my stomach doing something lol. I think when it happens I'll know for sure. I've read it can take up through 22wks to feel it, so I'm trying not to worry!
  • Still very early. I would not worry at all. You may not even feel true kicking until 27+. I'm 19+3 and haven't felt anything that I know of. But multiple ppl have said it just feels like gas bubbles at first so since I have that all the time who knows. I'm not worried!
  • I'm 20 weeks and 4 days too. Due on October 22nd. I haven't really felt definite movement yet either. Every now and then I feel something and think...maybe. I have an anterior placenta so that takes the impact of most of her movement right now. I really hope to feel movement soon. I know that everything is fine but i would love those little reminders. I've had a ton of ultrasounds bc I work in the imaging department at the hospital. I see her move. Maybe soon I'll feel it. Best of luck to you.
  • 20 weeks and nothing undeniable yet
  • I'm 22 weeks and very slight movements but no real kicks or punches and nothing consistent. I'm sad I'm not in that group that feels it sooner, but I won't worry for another couple weeks. I do have an anterior placenta though so obviously that's causing the movements to be "muffled".
  • I will be 22 weeks tomorrow and yesterday I finally felt major kicks ... Hang in there it will happen! :)
