Stabbing pain

I have an intense stabbing pain in the area of my pubic bone...possibly bladder?

Its happened a few times before, when I am walking on the treadmill. Usually the pain stops when I cease that movement but today in continued for another 20 mins or so.

Thoughts?

    I think that anything you describe as 'stabbing pain' warrants a call to your doctor just to be on the safe side, especially if you think it could be your bladder...UTIs are not fun. Could just be lightning crotch or SPD, but it's worth checking on, at least.

    I went to the ER with this a week ago. I got a liter of fluids and IV antibiotics... am now sitting back at the hospital waiting on a bladder ultrasound. :(
    I have gotten conflicting opinions on what it may be... a bladder stone vs. Uti (my urine is clear and it still hurts) vs intersistal cyctitis.
    No fun... felt like razors the night I went to the ER.

    I have this and it's normal for me. This is my fourth. As the baby gets heavier, they put weight on the nerves in your pelvic area and can often feel like "stabs" or "zings" that can hurt pretty bad at times. As a pp said, it is often referred to as "lightening crotch" and is very normal.

    However, I'm no doctor and if you're really concerned, they're used to getting called so don't hesittate if it's really bothering you and you think it's something more.

    I get the stabbing pains in my lady parts and the inner part of my thighs. It only last a couple seconds but enough to stop me in my tracks. My doctor said its because baby has dropped and there are lots of nerves in that area. I'm not counting down now or anything....

    Hm.. I get the same thing.. And just figured it was a nerve. My hips float as well so the pressure of baby on them causes a lot of pains.. Mine is more my pelvic/vagina area.. But everyone's right, always better to call your doctor and be safe. It does sound like a nerve pain tho, if it usually happens when your walking.

    But I'm on meds for it and I don't think it's that

    And pressure is not an accurate description
    It's definitely a stabbing pain

    I have brought it up to my dr before and she keeps saying ligament stretching.

    It is not that.

    I just wondered if anyone had the same thing and if they'd discussed with their Drs?

    It mostly happens to me when I'm walking on the treadmill but it has happened....I'll say unprovoked other times.

    However I've never had it like I did today. Where it continued 20 mins after I stopped walking.
