convertible car seat recommendations

We are looking into getting a convertible seat for our daughter soon and it's so hard to chose! We are looking at the graco contender and the evenflo titan. Any thoughts or recomendations are greatly appreciated. We will be putting the seat in a ford fusion and a Chevy impala. She is currently 9 months old so will he rear facing in the seat for a while before changing to forward facing. Thanks!!

    I have a ford Fushion as well and have the graco my size; it works well in the car and I have no complaints! (C is 10 months and has been in it for about 4 months now)

    We just started looking at this for our 9.5 month old too, so I'll be stalking this thread! (and I don't want to hijack, but if anyone has recommendations for convertible seats for TALL kids--like, 98th percentile tall), I will be taking notes!)
