Our war with the sugar ants is not going to well. Tried raid, spraying a boundary, spraying again and again, wiping down the counters, but they're baaack more than before! Time to call the exterminators.

Its Monday, and I am at work... Currently 96 degrees in this little constricted coffee hut. My feet are swollen, I am exhausted because I worked grave yard last night and now at this job. And people have the nerve to tell me that I take to long! Hello I am 8 months pregnant, there are three drive through windows and only one side of the espresso machine is working. I will get to you in a minute.

My stepson is purposely causing problems between me and my husband bc he doesn't want the new baby to come. Soooo that's been quite a stresser today. It's given me one hell of a nose bleed.

And it's about to storm which is making me super sleepy. Time for work though!

DD1 biffed it hard on the driveway this morning while chasing bubbles. Her knees and hands are all scraped up. It breaks my heart seeing her in pain, not being able to take it away, and knowing that once it heals, it's just going to happen again. Sometimes being a mom is hard.

We came home last night after a day at the lake. My husband drank all day at the lake then when we got home our neighbor was outside and he wanted to go hang out with him. Fast forward to today, I had my glucose test this morning and was so excited that I got to sleep in an hour longer than I would if I had to wake up for work. Needless to say my husband came home at 1 AM crawled into bed with me-waking me up-then got up about 3 times to pee-also waking me up. So I didn't get to sleep in at all and I had to go to the doctors office, have my blood sucked, and then go to work. Then he text me telling me he loves and misses me......

I'm ticked because it rained really hard, really fast on Saturday night, which caused the window in the basement where the storage area is to leak. It apparently has been for a while and we didn't know it as now the crib mattress is moldy, and the crib is probably ruined too. I wasn't planning on purchasing those again, so just more $ we have to spend!

Just had our maternity pics done this past weekend - everything went really well, I love the sneak peeks that we have been given so far. At work today, everyone asking me to see some of the pictures and I can't access my personal email account for whatever reason, and we are blocked from FB on all work computers. They had to settle for viewing on my phone....oh well. I suppose not a huge deal - but I was so excited to show them and they were equally as excited to see too.

I'm sure the novelty of it will wear off soon and I won't care - just an "in the moment" kind of disappointment.

I love this baby but I swear if she keeps kicking me as hard as she does, I might cry. It feels like getting punched!

And I'm proud of hubby for going to school, but I'm kinda envious of him getting to go out to eat and I don't. :-S

I just heard back from my Dr's office on my 3 hour glucose test...my fasting number was fine as were the 2 and 3 hour numbers, but my one hour was slightly elevated so I have to take the 3 hour test AGAIN in a month!! WTF. The thing that really has me annoyed is they aren't even talking to me about what I should/should not be doing in the interim to help my odds of not developing full blown GD! I am going to the Dr's on Wednesday, so I will talk to my Dr about it then, but still annoys the crap out of me.

I have a sore throat. I'm cranky about it. I know it's at least in part because I'm not getting enough sleep, but I feel like I'm sleeping so much lighter these days, everything wakes me up. Also DH's breath kind of gets stinky over night and if I roll so I'm facing him and he breaths on me, that wakes me up. Gross.

I live within blocks of the hospital. The borough started a new ordinance that you need a parking pass to park on the street in front of your house if you live within a certain radius of the hospital because they were having trouble with hospital employees parking for their shifts in front of people houses instead of one of the 18 parking lots that are for the hospital. Last night after driving to Philadelphia and back to see a friend in the hospital and not getting back until midnight, I forgot to put my pass back up. I've been parking in the same spot for the last 6 months and they can't seem to figure this out? Now I have a $35 parking ticket that I need to go downtown 8a-5p, but that's when I work. Ugh. I appreciate the need for some kind of parking solution, but they didn't go about it the right way

My boss has decided the person who is covering my job when I'm away with the baby will start next week. I think a month before I go is a bit of over kill but what really ticks me off is that I have to share my desk as we have no other free desk spaces near us! Seriously FML

I have a major headache that refuses to go away, and it's not helping my BP (144/90) stressing about it. Plus, DH texted me that he may not get off this Friday because two guys who are above him asked for the day off too and even though he put in for it weeks ago, they are more than likely going to get it instead of him. So, that will make us 8hrs late for our vacation, not just the 4hrs I was expecting with my doctors appointments. UGH! FML!

Driving around in 32° weathee, and our car runs out of gas. If DH wouldn't spend all day every day driving arounf a certain female friend, wouldn't have happened. Now I'm sitting in a blazing hot car waiting for him to go get gas.

Went to the doctor bright & early for a normal check-up. First got finger pricked to check hemoglobin & iron. Then saw the doctor and she says, "You need to get D-TaP shot. Today."

I shouldn't complain because baby is healthy & everything is going great...just wasn't expecting to get poked & prodded twice before 9am. :-q

I wasnt even at work for a full hour and was already feeling sweaty and gross... I'm also super annoyed they keep having me jump around from working the floor to being lead to doing meds and working different shifts sometimes 7-3 (which I like) other times 10-6 which are making me tired not to mention working 5 and 6 days in a row in a week instead of the 4 everyone else works.

I can't wait for June 26th bc I'm about ready to tell my supervisor to shove it. My clients family sent me home TEN minutes early bc the roads were flooding and they were concerned for my safety. Well my supervisor called me and said that now they'll be ten minutes short on their insurance claim so the company is out like $3. You're kidding me???? I laughed at her and said, "don't worry. It won't happen again. Glad it's just 3 more weeks. Have a good night." and hung up. I almost told her to f off.
