Where is my stomach?!

Lol, okay. I know that's a weird title, but for those of you who have had kids already, where did your stomach move to once everything gets all squishy in there? I feel like whenever I eat, I get this weird feeling on the top right side of my bump right under where my bra sits. It helps a little if i rub it, but i cant sit down without having that weird tightness in just that one spot. At first I thought it was the underwire on my bra, so I went and bought a new bra with no wire, and the band size it correct. Now, I'm thinking it's my stomach? Google is the enemy, so I won't Google it and I don't have another dr. appointment until the 17th. Anyone else having this weird tightness/pressure in their tummy? :|

My pregnant friend was having an issue in the area you described, and her Dr. determined it was her gallbladder. She has modified her diet, and it has helped her a lot! Something to ask your Dr. at your next appointment perhaps.

  • I would say gallbladder but it's usually excruciating pain in that spot and you can feel it in your back too. I get that feeling sometimes and figure it's my gallbladder but I've had this problem even before pregnancy. As nasty as it sounds if you drink a table spoon of acv and a table spoon of lemon juice it really helps
  • Thanks, hun!
  • Yeah, @sphillips18 - it's totally not painful at all, it just feels like something is squeezing whatever that is right there. Just slightly uncomfortable.
  • I get a tight feeling if I eat anything larger than a snack around the too of my bump. I assume it's my stomach. Yes the baby moves your organs, so it could be.
  • Everything gets pushed up! This one picture from my anatomy text book always comes to mind when I think about how much my body is going through. :-) I attached a pic I found on Google. You can probably find one that shows more. It is amazing!
