I can't remember how long I waited to really do a full aggressive workout after delivery with my other kids.
I'm having a c-section so I'm thinking at least 8 weeks? I've been pregnant and or nursing non stop for the last 5+ years and now that we'll finally be done, I'm so ready to get my body back. I mean I'll still be nursing another year (hopefully!) but knowing that I won't be gaining pregnancy weight again when I'm done has me pretty motivated

I started JM's 30 Day Shred 2 weeks after DD2 as I felt physically capable. I did end up having a really long recover period though, like 4.5 months of post partum bleeding, and I've always wondered if it was due to my premature return to high physical activity. This time around I plan on maintaining a clean diet, walking daily after delivery, and starting Jamie Eason's post natal workout program a month after delivery. Hopefully I can heal faster by taking a bit more time to heal. Jamie Eason's program is designed for post partum and can be started at home working around baby. It can be found at bodybuilding.com, is free, and looks fantastic. I've had killer results with her other program.
Edit: here's the link to the program https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-post-pregnancy-trainer.html
I will try building up my endurance after my 6wk check up.
Yeah, I started walking with the baby every day a couple weeks after birth and that is what really did it for me. I have never been much of an insane workout person though. I second that I am so, so excited to get my body back to normal.
