Hello all. This is my 2nd baby. I have a beautiful almost 2 year old girl. We are thrilled to be having another baby. Alot of my pregnancy symptoms have been different than the first. Do alot of you experience that??
Hi! Many congrats to you! We are on our second pg too! I have a 20 month old. This pregnancy is very different from the last. More tired, more food aversions, more nausea, lack of motivation to eat right and workout. But looking forward to second tri to get out of this funk!
Hey! We are on our 2nd as well. Our little guy is 14 months and just started walking. This pregnancy is totally different. I am so sick with this one and hardly had anything with my first. It's not fun trying to run around after our little guy and want to throw up at the same time!
This is our second. With my son who is 3. I was so sick with nausea, I had special pills. I had energy though. I wanted to eat everything. I didn't notice my boobs hurting then.
This pregnancy I've only been sick twice (which is really weird to me), I have no energy. I avoid a lot of foods. My boobs are constantly hurting me.
Though with both pregnancies, I want(ed) to sleep all day long. That's the only thing that sounds great to me.
Needless to say, it's like two different worlds with both of these pregnancies. It's so weird.
This is my second pregnancy as well, we have a 5 year old little girl! I had absolutely no morning sickness with my first pregnancy however this time around although not severe I have felt more dizziness and queasiness. I also am more tired then the first time around which may be because I'm taking care of my 5 year old all day! The breast soreness is about the same this time around. 6weeks exactly today! (I did spot lightly with my first pregnancy, but nothing so far this time).
We are expecting #2 as well. Currently 9w4d. Our daughter will be four in September and this was a planned pregnancy. Felt it was time. Last pregnancy I was sick every day, all day, beginning to delivery. This time I stay nauseous, but I've only actually lost it a few times. I am a full time mom/wife/dispatcher so the need for sleep is so extreme this time around and definitely not getting it. Last pregnancy I wanted chocolate milk, glass bottle coke, donuts, and onions. This time onions make me gag, I want nothing to do with sugar, still craving the coke but I think it's for the nausea, cheese, and anything that's salty. It's like I'm pregnant for the first time again. It's like a whole different world and I'm left feeling lost. One thing that hasn't changed, if I take too hot of a shower I get super light headed. Completely forgot about that being a real struggle and scared DD & DH with it. Ooops!
Aw. Congrats. Yeah running after the lil ones while feeling crappy is rough. Did anyone experience your toddler/lil one sensing the baby is there. I swear our lil girl knew before we did. She has lightening up a lil. She will lift my shirt and point to my belly when we ask her where the baby is. Its really adorable. I think she will be a wonderful big sis.
Congrats! This is #2 for us too. We have 22mo old who keeps me super busy on top of working full time. With my first pregnancy I had small appetite and no MS with this one the MS comes and goes and appetite is all over the place. No motivation to be functional at all though lol
I'm also expecting #2. I have a 20 month old son and am a working mom. I am actually experiencing the opposite from many of you. I was pretty queasy and exhausted all day every day for the first few months with DS. This time around I've had no symptoms. Which you would think would be awesome, but it is making me very nervous. 10 more days until my first OB appointment. Feels like forever.
I have a daughter that just turned 1! My pregnancy this time around has been pretty similar. I've actually had less morning sickness and more exhaustion. Which I think makes sense since this time around Im chasing around a little one. It's just an old wives tale, but I heard if your pregnancies are very different you're having the other gender and if they're similar you'll have the same gender. (I realize there's no validity to old wives tales, I just think they're fun.)
#3 here. Didn't have many symptoms at all with DD and had a great pregnancy, but had HG with DS and a rough pregnancy. So far, this seems to be right in the middle. Every pregnancy really is different!

My daughter has been telling everyone that her mommy was going to have her some twins for a good 6 months! I am only 9w so I haven't had the first ultrasound to know anything yet. I did joking tell her that if we do have twins that she has to raise one. Now any time I have to leave for work or if I get her from her car seat, she will hug my belly and then kiss it. She has been absolutely wonderful with knowing what is going on.
Aw. Thats awesome. Do u think you may have twins?? I do know we have one in there. Did a bedside ultrasound and heard the beautiful heartbeat. We have another in a week to determine gestational age. Can't wait to see if its the same or not.
