positive pregnancy test after miscarriage in January <3

Hi!

I had a miscarriage back in January and my husband and I were recently able to start to try again.  On Friday I realized I was 6 days late for my period and I took a test.  It was positive and then I took it again the next day and positive again just to be sure...;)  We're so excited!  But we told each other we're just taking it day by day.  We haven't told anyone yet and think we're just going to tell our parents until we really hear a heartbeat this time.  It's a weird feeling to understand having to start over.  I was 11 weeks pregnant when I had the miscarriage and it was my first.  I never knew having a miscarriage was so common before so this makes me realize how precious this is and how you can't just take it for granted.  Just wanted to ask for prayers that everything will be okay this time around

    @jenmickey79 I had a miscarriage back in April and it was heartbreaking. My heart goes out to you! We've only told a select few and are also waiting for that heartbeat. I didn't get to hear it last time so I'm really anxious to hear it this time around!

    @moomee you just had a miscarriage several months ago?  My heart goes out to you also.  It's hard to feel excited really until I feel the heartbeat I think.  I started seeing posts on the miscarriage boards and it's heartbreaking.  I'm glad I've been able to move away from that.  I'm 36 and really hope it doesn't happen again.

    I had a stillbirth at 38 weeks in January. Just found out we were pregnant again! Will be thinking and praying for you! Congrats and Good Luck :)

    I got my appointment with the nurse scheduled for my education and question and answer type session. It's not scheduled until July 2nd. I had wanted to meet with someone a little sooner just to make sure everything is okay. Naturally, I"m worried it's going to happen again. I didn't find out until 11 weeks that my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I wish there was a way I knew sooner. So I had a nurse call me and they are ordering a blood test for me that I can take in the next few days. I hope that will help to show that things are okay so far. On top of that, I feel fine. No morning sickness or nauseous at all. Sore boobs, but that's about it. That's how it was last time too so I guess so far I've been lucky with not getting sick. :)

    Welcome and congrats! I had a missed mc too and I totally get the fear. I've been monitored much closer this time due to the loss and some bleeding over the last couple days so just know you aren't alone with the scary stuff. The ladies here are amazing and very supportive so you are in good company.
