Poop!

we started solids and now my LO has really thick solid poop. I see him pushing to get it out. So far we've been eating rice cereal, which is a huge hit, sweet potatoes and avocados which he didn't like much.
Is 5mo old baby poop supposed to be more solid? I primarily breast feed with only 2 solids a day.

    I have the same issue except we've been doing solids for 2 months! But all of a sudden now that she's eating more solids her poop is definitely harder :s

    We started about a month ago and since then have been dealing with poop issues. Prunes have become our best friend...Pedi says it's completely normal to have these issues when starting solids and that their system just needs time to adjust.

    LO's poop is def harder since starting solids. He stays pretty regular though and doesn't seem to be in distress when pooping. So not worried.
