tingling/tickling feeling in lower back?

For the past 2 days I have noticed a tickling/tingling sensation in my lower back that lasts for a few seconds and then goes away. It's not painful at all but definitely noticeable.
When I search on Google all that comes up is lower back pain but that's not it. Anyone else felt this before?
I have a doctors appointment this week and will be bringing it up but I just wanted to see if anyone had any insight.

Perhaps the start of a pinched nerve? I get one frequently in my shoulder. It usually starts with tingling sensations that are brief and if I don't change what ever seems to be irritating it (to much desk work) it gets worse and worse. I would make sure to stretch the lower back well and frequently and maybe use a heating pad or warm shower focused in the area on days you have the tingling.
