Labor "Aura"

I've been feeling strange the past couple of days and I'm starting to think it's my body preparing for labor which may come soon.

I'm a FTM so I'm not sure what to expect...anybody know of moms experiencing an "aura" or certain symptoms when labor is drawing near?

    I'm 36 weeks, and I've been feeling massive pressure for a while now, especially when I first get up after sitting awhile, and she's constantly on my bladder (she's head down). My hips also hurt. My mom says that means she's getting ready to come! But honestly, as a FTM, I have no idea what to look for, so no, I haven't really felt any specific symptoms that's telling me "It's that time!!" I just hope she comes soon or on time lol

    There are no real "symptoms" for labor other than water breaking and contractions. That is basically the only way you will know.

    Couldn't agree more @gotdiesel2007 with my oldest I had contractions all the time.. Painful and building.. And then subside. I dilated 1 cm and stayed that way for weeks. I dropped, had the pregnancy mask and huge nose. Everyone would say "just a few more days" for weeks..
    Second, nothing happened.
    And this baby.. Same as my first.. Lol and been having "symptoms" for weeks now. But I never go into labor on my own. So I haven't even bothered going to the hospital this time because I know this game.
    But some women do have the classic symptoms and go into labor.. Sadly the only way to be sure is if your water breaks.
