Do we have many veteran moms here?

in October 2015 Moms
As in been a mother for 10 or more years and have over 3 kids? I've been talking on the same website since 2007 and they're not closing so I came here to check you guys out. Seems like a lot of new moms!! Just wonder if there are more crazy ladies like me out there lol 36 with baby #6 with kids ranging from 21 months to 17 years.

    I can't speak to the specifics of your qualifications of "veteran" (i.e., 10+ years of motherhood with 3+ kids), but I can tell you that we have some outstanding BTDT moms who would be happy to have another BTDT mom join the group! Congratulations and welcome!

    Maybe veteran is a bad word to use lol just wondering how man people have been doing the mom thing for awhile. Looks like we have a lot of first timers.

    @caffeinatedkat, I think it's pretty common for these boards to be populated mostly by FTMs because they often seek advice or insight into something they know little about. I know that's why I first engaged in a BMB when I was pregnant with DD. I like that we also have BTDT moms here (or veteran moms) because the wide variety of input is super helpful in diversifying advice for FTMs. I also find that I am reminded of things I've forgotten (or suppressed? :) ) and I learn something new once in awhile! Welcome aboard :)

    I haven't been a mom for 10+ but my oldest will be 8 in September and I have a daughter that's 5 and two step boys almost 8 and 4

    I'm not in my 30s and have been a mom for 3 1/2 years but Iv BTDT and would consider myself seasonedish....( that's not a real word is it?) :D

    Well I pretty much took care of my sister I'm 29 and have a 7 yr old boy so I have learned a good deal of things!

    I sometimes feel like a FTM when I see how much has changed in the baby world in last 7 years, my DS is turning 8 and things are super different!

    When I had my first I was on WIC they use to give you tuna vouchers. They said to let her tummy down or she would choke on spit up. Things change so rapidly it seems! Now I keep my children back Facing for 2 years because all the data says it is way better. Who knew right? They have even banned crib bumpers due to Suffocation risks. I feel like I need to go back to mommy school lol

    I have two daughters who will be 12 & 11 and also have two stepdaughters 12 & 9. So this will be baby #5 for us :) I feel more like a FTM than s veteran

    This! 34 here. DD is 9 and DS is 7. This is our "surprise" baby.

    I have six and am due 24 OCT with baby 7 my kids are 13 12 11 4 3 1 gbgbgg and this baby is a boy starting to get excited
