Bubs has been so lazy the past couple of days. I still get enough kicks when I do my counts, and I know babies have lazy days and active days, but he's stressing me out. I'm so paranoid that something is going to go wrong that I can't manage to get out of my own head. Bah.

My LO's been the same way. He changed this active time from afternoon to morning/evening, so I was having panic attacks all afternoon until evening came when I'm pretty sure he bruised a rib.
I'm definitely getting a donut today! We are growing humans and we deserve it!
I had a dream that someone was kidnapping babies at the hospital. Yeah, baby is staying with me or my husband the WHOLE time while we are there now. Not that we were going to part with him at any time really.
We are going to Krispie Kreme today and having dinner with the in-laws. I for one, love doing anything that gets my mind off of being pregnant. So dinner with family is a welcome distraction.

I'm think he's just rolled and is facing my back again. He was ALL up in my ribs for the past week, then just on one side. I'm pretty sure all I feel right now are his butt wiggles, haha. And of course the occasional bladder punch.
Today is terrible. The RLP is really getting to me. I think I'm in the midst of dropping. I should prob finish the nursery this weekend. Sh*t is about to get real.
I would have skipped work because of the discomfort, but I have a meeting this afternoon to go over things with the person covering me while I'm out. If I can get this off my plate then baby came come anytime. .
Today is my birthday and DH's birthday. We were going to go out to dinner to celebrate, but the chair we bought for the nursery is being delivered between 3pm-7pm. Fingers crossed they come early so we can go to dinner!!
In the meantime, we are headed to Target to get the raspberry leaf tea and new t shirts for DH. Such an exciting day lol
35 weeks today! Whoop whoop! But the stretch marks have exploded on my belly in the last week or so. I have only gained 25lbs. So I would say I'm not huge.. But I my belly is itching like crazy! Like seriously I apply lotion 4-5 times a day. And it doesn't stop. I look like a big ol' gorilla scratching my belly. Anyone else encountering this?

Try using an oil instead of a lotion. The oil will absorb deeper into your skin and give you more releif.
Stop talking about donuts! We have neither of those here! Lol on another note my husband list his military id so I have the pleasure of driving him around this morning. 7am and I'm sitting at Ncis with both my kids yay

Rant that has little to do with pregnancy- I work full time nights as an L&D nurse, and also have the responsibility of doing the schedule for my shift. This means I know ahead of time who's quitting, who's hired, who's going on leave, etc. I know we're going to be short staffed when myself and a coworker go on maternity leave, plus people are taking vacations. This is no secret- we all know it's coming. My manager called today and told me TWO full time nurses are transferring out to other depts because they can no longer handle the job. Right before vacations and maternity leave which was already leaving us short. We're fucked! I'm irritated with them- couldn't you have stuck it out a little longer?? Grr.
Anyway- 33 weeks and feeling pretty good still most days. I know my limits though, and my body tells me when I've surpassed them. Doubting I'll go into labor anytime before 40 weeks though- gotta keep going til I can't.

Just got up early for my doctors appointment only to find that the office isn't even open today. This is strike number 5933 for this idiot. I am not impressed.
Rant: Why would you have the heat on in the summer time in a OBGYN office??????? I always feel like I'm going to pass out in the waiting area
Happy moment: did a very brief ultrasound just to make sure fluids were good and got to see that baby has some hair! I now believe what they say about heartburn is true

Omg! I've had the worst heart burn lately! I might be giving birth to a little rapunzel! Lol
I went with my daughter to get our hair done today then one of my best friends went to pick up the nursery she got me for my shower and we (mostly her) put it together! I got a set which included the crib, dresser and changing table so we got two done and need to finish putting together the dresser. I've also been washing all the clothes and blankets and now realize I have WAY too much NB and 0-3 mos clothes. I had a lot of hand me downs from a friend of mine so now I have more than I ever need! It has been a great day so far! The nursery is looking so nice (nautical theme)! I'm exhausted for a change as I've been having a rush of energy lately!
TMI? Probably. My sense of smell is insane. I smell things before anyone...and it almost rules my world. A good smell can make my day. A bad one? I might hurl. My bf...well...he showers very frequently, but within a few hours, his...pair of "danglers" has an odor. I don't mean like I'm trying to be intimate and that's the problem. I mean...he sleeps in just boxers and when he gets in bed...omg...it's like he has to air them out or something...and with my sense of smell so sensitive, I swear the whole room must reek of them. I usually say something jokingly, but he's like an overgrown kid and thinks it's funny. I'm sure it's a normal smell that has always been there, but I'm to the point of turning away from him and just about covering my face with a blanket...lol...ugh! I even mentioned maybe he could put deodorant on them or something...he just laughs.
