We are expecting our second baby in August. Our son will be three in June. We saved all of the bottle nipples we used for our first son. My husband wants to buy new nippples, I think these will be OK (all were sterilized after use, and will be sterilized again before the baby arrives).
Did you reuse the bottle nipples for a second baby?
Can't speak from experience, but this article mentions that nipples can degrade over time and the flow rate can change, so it's best to buy new nipples.
No. Manufacturer leaflet in bottle box says replace nipples after 3 months use. I have been using the same nipples for DD2 since she was about 1mo and feel ok about that BUT I would not use the nipples we had with DD1. We use the same bottles though.
