does your hcg really matter that much in terms of what you see on an ultrasound? Or more just how far along you are? I went for an us at 6w2d and only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac - no fetal pole. The dr is convinced I'm actually a little earlier than that, and I honestly don't know because I only had 2 periods since my last pregnancy, so I'm guessing he's probably right. My hcg on the day of the ultrasound was 17,000, and from what I've heard other people say there should have been something with a level that high. But if I was only 5 1/2 weeks or so, what I saw would be right, regardless of the #....right? Does this make sense? I've been stressing so much over it and have 2 more days until my next ultrasound.
Re: high hcg but only yolk sac?
@willashbaby, just re-listened to message from doctor progesterone was 10.6 not 6
Glad to hear that, it sounds much better!
