Cervix pain

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I get sharp stabbing pains on my cervix, sometimes they're just random and come and go in a second and sometimes I feel my baby stretch and they last a bit longer (So I guessed she's pushing it and that's why). My doctor checked my cervix last week (before I staring getting them) and it was perfectly closed, I asked him and he's not worried about it, I just want to know if anyone else is having them because it didn't happen with my son and that if it could mean that my cervix is starting to open or getting ready to release the plug.

    Yep I get them. Usually sharp stabbing and pressure, I'm also not dilated at all. My ob said he could be engaging into my pelvis. I'm 36 weeks today

    I get them most at night after being on my feet all
    Day I guess. I haven't told the doctor they probably wouldn't be too concerned it's usually just baby preparing into position lol. Going on 36 weeks in two days so not worried.

    Yup I get like an ache there :-< or sharper pain. Can't remember having this with first baby either. But I remember my OB saying stm usually dilate a small amount (like 1cm) very early on
    I think it's normal ??

    With my son I was already 2cm at 7 months and had to stay in bed for the rest of my pregnancy and he was born at 39+2! This time I'm 34 weeks and it's completely closed! Everyone was sure I was going to have her earlier but it doesn't look like it. I don't if the fact that it's been almost 6 years makes a difference, because I also knew that you dilate earlier with #2!
