Anybody else having trouble with underpants riding up or rolling down or otherwise not fitting properly? Any advice on a particular style that works better than others?
I went to maternity underpants got them at motherhood maternity and they ride low under my belly but sit on my hips where they are suppose too. I highly recommend them
I was actually just wondering about this.. I was kind of thinking maternity underwear is just one of those things they want to make you think you need. Glad that some people actually find them useful. Will probably try to hold out on purchasing any until they are a necessity.

I don't have enough of a bump yet to put into maternity clothes, but I've certainly outgrown all my cute/sexy undies. I'm using my stash of back of the drawer granny panties for now.
A recently pregnant friend of mine gifted me a pack of Hanes x-temp underwear along with some other pregnancy survival supplies. I love them SO MUCH now that my regular underwear are feeling too tight! I plan to buy more very soon! Otherwise, thongs are my go-to choice.
All I can think of is the humungo undies I have waiting for me when I get home from the hospital. I pulled an extra pack I had bought last time out of my maternity clothes box the other day and I swear you could sail a boat with those babies. Trying to hold out for now too. I always find the Gap underwear line to be really comfortable, still having luck with those.
TMI I've been going commando the last 3 days...I finally gave up trying on all my pairs to find one that hardly fits. Tomorrow is pay day, so pantie shopping I will go lol
I'm down to about 5 or 6 trustworthy pairs right now a lot of my skimpier and cute stuff doesn't fit. I sleep in a baggy shirt and undies and keep apologizing to DH about my less than sexy undergarments!

Hahaha! Me too! I had to send DH to the store to buy some. I had a c-section and everything I owned sat too low. He was quite embarrassed, it was pretty amusing.

I haven't ventured the going commando but I did have the exact same problem as the OP! I am living in the US for the past yr but before that Ireland. There I bought my underwear in Marks and Spencer's. They deliver for free to the US and have really good offers. I also found a discount on line and between all this it worked out about $2 a pair - sweet! I stocked up on the low rise bikinis but you may like the high leg either, both are good and quality similar to Gap.

So, I wear aerie thongs exclusively. They are reasonably priced and comfortable. I've found that I can't wear anything other than a thong because I'm now super sensitive to the feeling of seams on my butt cheeks.
That said, I normally wear small and have already moved up to medium. These are starting to feel too snug also. How does maternity change your underwear size? Do I really need to keep getting bigger and bigger sizes or do I need to switch styles? Going commando sounds intriguing, but I'm not sure it sounds like a good idea with all the extra vaginal discharge and fact that that area has been really sensitive lately.
Never really occurred to me I might eventually need different underwear! A lot of mine are tight now. My biggest fear is panty lines!!!!!! I refuse!!!!!
I used to be an Aerie & VS girl but Calvin Kleins are the only ones I wear now. They are so soft and silky, you don't even feel them. I go to the outlet, they generally have 4 pairs for $20 in their clearance section. I'll never wear anything else!
literally bought maternity underwear at 12 weeks and they have changed my life. I HATE when my underwear squishes my stomach and pinches my leg. they are honestly the best investment i have made so far. and they're cute too. Thyme Maternity. Worth it. Try just one pair and I'll bet you will get more.

Ok, I need advice. The thongs really look for all the world like regular thongs. What makes it maternity? Will I be able to order my normal, pre-pregnancy size and have it fit my entire pregnancy?
This is too funny! I tried to hang onto all my old undies for the longest and I was absolutely miserable with all the riding into regions they had no business in! My co-worker suggested I pick up some "parachute panties" that covered my whole butt and it was the best decision I've ever made!!

*I am aware of a little more moisture throughout the day though, given it's hot and stuff.
