Male Fertility Issues...

Hello Ladies!!!!
   I decided to open this discussion because although I've read some personal stories about the struggle with MFI, I feel like it hasn't really been discussed that much on here. My husband and I have been struggling with this issue for 3 years. We've had two failed IUI and just don't know what to do anymore. A lot of people have advised us to go the IVF route but righ now that just isn't an option for us. What has been your experience? What treatments have u decided on? Supplements? Accupuncture?  Amount of abstinence days to improve count and motility? Timing on fertility drugs, trigger shots, procedures? Any success? Please share ur experiences. I know it would be easier to read them on one post instead of searching through them all.

Me: 35  DH: 33
TTC #1: Since July 2012
Me: PCOS
DH: MFI (low count, motility, morphology)
Started with RE 10/14
IUI #1 - 3/9/15 - Got AF 2 days before BETA
IUI #2- 4/8/15- Got AF day of supposed BETA
Currently Self Benched to figure out what our next step will be

    No luck here. 5.5 years and counting, 3 IUIs at the beginning of this year, nada. We're on a break right now, I'm on the pill to get endo under control and we're both working on getting healthy. We might try again in the Fall but we're not super hopeful given our history. Of course the RE said IVF with ICSI would be our best chance, but we have several reasons why we have decided not to pursue that. Sorry I don't have any better insights. Our MF consists of borderline low everything except the morphology which is plain awful, and there's nothing we can really do to fix that.

    DH has low morphology (2%) and had boarder line count and motility. He took Fertility Blend For Men and CoQ10 and his count and motility drastically improved. It improved a ton between testing and our first IUI by taking the max dose of 4 pills. We did end up getting pregnant after 6 cycles, 4 of which were IUI. I also had IF issues and possibly only one functional tube, so that is probably why it took longer. I have no clue if those improved morphology or not as it was never restated. For the IUIs they only tested count and motility. Good luck!!

    IVF #1 9/15 Antagonist- 19 R 1F (Frozen day 1 @ 2PN stage) Diagnosed with SER aggregates in 13/19 eggs after failed fertilization
    IVF #2 11/15 Antagonist w/ICSI  (Higher stims & Letrosole added last minute on stim day 7)- 39R, 24M (20/24 SER free), 15F (14/15 SER free & all frozen @ 2PN stage) 
    FET#1 Cultured all 16- 2pn embryos to day 5- transferred 1 good hatching blast and 1 early blast on 1/28- None to freeze - beta 2/5

    04/25/14 - Miscarriage at 9 weeks - Turner Syndrome 

    08/01/14 - Miscarriage at 8 weeks - Trisomy 9 

    October 2014 - Unsuccessful IUI 

    November 2014 - IUI month skipped due to cyst 

    December 2014 - Unsuccessful IUI 

    January/February 2015 - Failed IVF (standard long protocol) - 7 eggs, 6 mature, 4 fertilized (ICSI), 0 made it to blast, 0 for testing 

    March/April 2015 - Microflare IVF protocol with HGH - 6 eggs, 6 mature, 5 fertilized (ICSI), 2 blasts for biopsy! 

    May/June 2015 - Microflare IVF protocol with HGH - 9 eggs, 6 mature, 5 fertilized (ICSI), 3 blasts for biopsy!

    06/18/15 -  Two healthy embies based on PGS testing by Natera!

    June/July 2015 - FET cycle with estradiol & PIO shots, a Neupogen treatment, and accupuncture

    07/08/2015 - Transferred one lovely embie 

    07/17/2015 - Beta #1 136

    07/20/2015 - Beta #2 529 -- BFP!!!

    Following. My DH has ED, which has made naturally TTC baby no. 2 impossible (baby no. 1 was conceived on Viagra, which doesn't really work anymore) and prompted us to go to an AR specialist (which we did earlier this week). Still not sure what the issue is or if there are other issues besides the obvious - more tests ensue in the coming weeks for both of us. Don't have much information to share yet since we only just started, but am sending you lots of support, and will certainly share information as things develop. :)

    My DH has azoospermia and has to have sperm surgically retrieved, so our only option is IVF/ICSI with MESA.
