Breastfeeding Help

my LO will breastfeed really good on one side but not the other. Any advice for feeding? Should I pump each side a little after to keep my supply up?

Have you trued a nipple shield? ? I have heard a few babies struggle latching on one side so they use the shield on that side

  • I'm having a similar issue. I think it's because of using my dominant hand. Maybe try a different position?
  • I'm also having this issue where my left side has much more supply. I'm trying to intentionally start feeding DD on my right side each time (when she's most hungry / gets the most) to try and build up this side. Hope this might work?? Pumping on your weaker side, like PP said, might be a great idea, too.

  • My left side is like a fountain. Poor lil guy chokes unless I'm basically lying flat with him on top. The other side seems normal.

I have that issue but we power through, she doesn't like the left side she can't hold it for long she sucks a little lets go then latches again but i feed her from it anyway but i have to admit that i cheat and let her feed from the right few times in a row when i'm sleeping lol

I have the same issue. My LO will only feed on my right side. I let him feed for as long as he needs and I pump the other side right after.
