Hi everybody, since things haven't been getting better on the weight loss/getting healthy front, I made an appointment with my doctor. I'm hoping to get my thyroid levels checked, etc. The appointment isnt for another two weeks so I'll be on the same track until then.

DH and I went "neighborhood shopping" this weekend! We agreed that we want a waterfront property and visited several small towns along a river in Pennsylvania. It was a fun distraction for sure.

QOTW: I don't have any pets but plan to get a Yorkie or two when we move. Horses have also been my dream but IF treatments have taken that off the table.

Still just hanging out here waiting for CD1

I have my mammogram today, which is a pre-IVF requirement if you're over 40. I never look forward to those (though they're not as bad as some people say).

We have four fur babies! Two dogs, two cats. A pug, a pekingese, an indoor cat and an outdoor cat. I won't bombard you with pics of all of them, but here's my adorbs Penny on DD's playmat.

AF surprised me last week! I decided since she made an appearance , I would want on the progesterone, Femera and the trigger shot this month and see if it can happen on its own. If not , I will do progesterone and femera and the trigger shot next month.

Still benched! It's been a weird first non-medicated cycle, possibly getting AF really early (CD 23, which has happened to me before, but I was a perfect 28 days with meds). That's a week after what we thought was implantation bleeding. Never been so anxious to get a surgery! Also getting healthier...haven't lost much weight, but significantly decreased percent body fat, which I'm happy about.

We have two fur babies. A black and white cat named Whippet (age 8, his name refers to a brand of chocolate-covered marshmallow cookie in Quebec, not the dog breed), and a blonde cocker spaniel named Nahla (age 5).

Hello everyone. I'm in a standstill. Started BC last month and now waiting for AF. We have our doctors appt to teach us about all the shots and meds for IVF. I will begin that end of June and egg retrieval will be between July 8-12th. I learned that they will determine after fertilizing them whether they will do a fresh transfer (5-6 days later) or a frozen which is 6 weeks later. Anyone know anything about a frozen transfer and is that better to do? Obviously, we want to do whatever will give us the best success. FX. I'm pretty nervous about everything and it's so hard to stay positive.

Our fur-baby is named Maizey. My husband is a huge Michigan fan and they are Maize and Blue, figured what better name then Maizey.

. She is a 13 month old lab and is absolutely an amazing dog. She has comforted me during nights when I would cry myself to sleep. She has been the best dog I could ask for.

Hey everyone I love the fur babie pictures!

I am waiting to see the RE on Thursday will update you all then.

I have two dogs and a cat one dogs name is lugnut he is a mommy's boy. Mixed bread. Are other dog is Molly she is a min pin daushound mix. Then we have lacy aka stinky she is a bangle cat mix.. I'm having problems uploading or I would share a pic.

@kristylang Such a sweet dog!!! I'm on hold for IVF for a few months, but my RE gave me the impression that a fresh transfer would be better. That might be because of my diagnosis though. BTW I might have to copy that eternity symbol on your wall.

@kristylang - fresh versus frozen can vary by clinic, so you'll want to ask specifically about the success rates of fresh or frozen at your clinic. The most recent studies actually show that frozen transfers can often be more successful (the old thinking was that fresh was best, always) because the body has time to recover from all of the stress the stim hormones put it under. i know my clinic still has slightly better success numbers with fresh transfers, but lots of clinics are moving toward frozen as the standard and preferred protocol.

@kristylang @GoldenKeys : I may be wrong on this one, but I think fresh is best generally. However, if there are complications (hyperstimulation, thin lining, etc), then they may decide it's best to wait til everything is in better shape and do frozen.

Hi everyone, I'd love to be added to the check in!

1. We've been TTC for a little less than two years.

2. I have a mild DX of PCOS and right now we are in the processing of doing a second SA for my DH to verify where he falls with all of this. His first one was below average but nothing too alarming so we're testing again to see where this one falls. I just had a second HSG today (first one didn't go well) and today's went great, both tubes are open so I am feeling good about things so far!

3. As of now, we are waiting to see how the second SA goes and we will game plan from there. It was sounding like IUI but since both tubes are open we way try to see if I can ovulate with medication.

I have one fur baby named Izzie (she's a 4 year old toy golden doodle) and one netherland dwarf bunny! Love them more than anything

We have 2 doggies and an elderly cat. The dogs are labs mixes named Jet and spike. The cat is a tortoise shell named Morgan . I would add a pic, but it doesn't seem to be working.

As for my status, had ER Monday. 6 eggs fertilized. Waiting for embryo transfer timing.

Well it was a shitty week for me after my last blood test my doctor said all is fine..DH's blood test all fine. Followed charts & temp to a T and what do you know AF showed up early this cycle. Going to see the doctor at the end of the month to reevaluate. DH and I are exploring our next plan. Open to suggestions &/or questions I need to ask my dr....thanks in advance! FX for you all to have a good upcoming week.

I have two adorable fur babies. A German Shepherd mix, Jackie Robinson 6yr who's not friendly and a puggle, Vin Scully 1yr who's very hyper. Yes we are Dodger fans lol. Both were rescued at 2 months.

Whatever you do, do not take fertility drugs (meaning Clomid) without getting tested. Meaning, an ultrasound, HSG, bloodwork and sperm analysis. If your OB doesn't do these tests, or does not monitor you on fertility drugs then ask for a referral to an RE. Trust us on this one, you'll be glad you did.

This week I'm in my TWW post IUI. A little distressed today following our meeting with the RE today. We were told we might want to move to IVF sooner then later and I always thought I would draw the line before we got there. I mean we have only done one IUI with the same info from the SA and now we are dropping that plan?

We have 3 fur babies. A fat old calico cat named Cleo who is 14 or so. A Jug who is mostly pug named Ben. He is 7 or 8 (adopted from my brother when they moved to Asia). And the baby Higgins. A Doberman crossed with a Great Dane who is the biggest suck ever. We didn't do his ears or tale so he's super cute. He will be four this fall.

It sucks that the RE dropped that little bomb on you in the TWW, that's not the time you need another thing to stress over. :-( FX that your IUI worked and hopefully makes next steps convo moot!

@goldenkeys thanks for the info..we have yet to discuss any fertility drugs, I don't think I'm ready for that yet. She did mention some hormones to try, does anyone have info on hormones that could help (so far all test show that everything is fine)?

Fertility drugs are another way of saying hormones. They're often the first step after testing...

warning - existing children mentioned

Had my prolactin tested, a breast u/s and a discharge smear due to discharge. All normal. Trying to convince dh he needs an SA.

Sadly our closest RE is a 2hr drive away

nether DH nor I want to go to those lengths to have a 3rd child right now. and we have no family near us who could watch them for 5 plus hours while we went up there. Plus having to go for multiple visits would be realllly difficult. My ob no longer does any IF work up. So at this point, much past DH getting an SA, there isnt much we can do.

We have 2 fur babies and several scaley babies. 1 kitten named Belle, an 11 yo Papillon named Phoenix and several fish

Just got back from Vacay! Still their mentally!!

I have two fur babies. Boomer and Blazer, Australian Shepherd Mixes. Both about a year old. If i was any good with computers, I would add a picture!

Got a call last week that DH'S numbers were not 39 million like I thought, it was 3.9. Sadness. So both iuis were done with his counts lower than expected, so instead of trying again we are going to redo his SA... the appointment for which is in August *sigh*

However, I did actually get the trigger shot this time, and I had 2 follies. I'm right now 13dpiui, and nothing. I'm oddly not feeling excited or hopeful... I don't know. I just see AF coming along soon. My RE says to test at 14dpiui, but I am going to wait until Monday, which will make AF super late (my app says it was due today) and because no one will be at my re's office until Monday anyway. Even then it will probably be negative. Boo.

I have 3 furbabies. Jasmine is my mom's 13 year old black and tan mini dauschaund, Lucky is our 8 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Nimue is our 10 year old cat
