VIP!! FITNESS MOMMAS COME IN!!!

We are doing fitness challengeschallenges at work for the next few weeks and today is jumping jacks/jump rope. I have total previa. That wouldn't prohibit me from doing the challenge, would it?? I am super competitive so I NEED to participate......

ETA: I don't usually exercise outside of walking.

  • Personally, I wouldn't. I LOVE to compete and I'd be afraid of overdoing for the sake of winning. I've also heard anything involving intense plyometrics/high impact/jumping is kind of rotten on the ligaments since everything is loose. Talk to your doctor, though. I hope you get the green light because it sounds like fun! Plus, who wants to get beat by a pregnant lady?
  • @thefithuntress I got a big, fat red light. So we are modifying my participation. I get to sub the jumps for wall sits. 10 sec wall sits =2 jumping jacks.

    The guys are going down...

    This. I quit doing my hiit classes bc at first I thought, oh I'll just scale back and take it easy, but I'm too competitive to not give it my all and I'm sure I'd hurt myself. I mean sheesh, I jogged as a 5 min warmup and was all sorts of snap crackle and pop by minute 2!

    Oh I feel your pain! That's a hard one to be forced to pass up, I'm so competitive myself. My 10 year hs reunion is at the end of October as well as our Alumni basketball game and I am sooooo bummed I can't play. I think I'm gonna at least "warm up" with them and be the pregnant cheerleader on the sidelines during the game. Sucks!
